Do you want to get published? Are you ready make your mark as a researcher in the scholarly communications world? Need to get your head around publication ethics, peer review and third party rights? This module is for you!

The Publish and prosper module is made up of four topics:
  1. Publication ethics
  2. Finding my publisher
  3. Peer review
  4. Copyright

Each topic is like an interactive textbook, featuring one or more pre-recorded videos, a quiz and suggested additional resources and case studies to help you gain a better understanding of the topic.

This is a self-paced course, which means that all of the content is available and you are free to move ahead, or pick and choose content, at your own pace.

This Publish and prosper module provides you with materials regarding
  • ethical research practices
  • managing copyright effectively in your research process
  • the role of peer review in scholarly publishing
  • how to respond to reviewer comments in your work
  • how to avoid predatory publishers and choose a quality scholarly publisher
  • copyright requirements, including your rights and third party rights
